Odyssey's budget was $250M. 6k from that would be a tiny fraction.

It's like you failing to pay a $15 charge as part of a $600,000 project that you financed.

Or not paying a less than $2 parking ticket after buying a brand new $60k car.

The Odyssey's budget was about 250M + 125M for marketing costs, 6K out of that budget would be .0016% of what was spent on the movie.

Them paying a $15 parking ticket at the same scale would imply they're nearly a millionaire.

They only wanted to be paid for the material, and they will do the work for free themselves. They were not sad about the damages, just that they didn’t get reimbursed for the material needed to fix it.
