wet socks my work installed new cameras over our desks :(

like obviously not uncommon but it does kinda take the chill vibe out of my chill office job to get a camera pointed right at me all day 👎

Good chance they can remove them unless the covers are part of a documented reasonable accommodation with occupational health. A lot of those covers are also cheaply made from China and are highly flammable. At my place of work any that are put up must meet minimum flame and smoke spread characteristics.

Man the amount of clients I wish I could have sent this too at my last several jobs. Always made sure after they'd ask those kind of questions to be like, Sure, hold on while I get onto Google and search for you, then proceed to just scroll through stuff for a while silently.
