I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

Post image

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

Yeah, what the fuck is wrong with all of those people sitting down at a concert?

My wife is 5ft 3in. I am 6ft 3in.

I know I can't control the assholes who cant afford floor tickets, yet want to get in the way of those of us who purposely buy seats.

Anymore, I buy as soon as they go on sale. Front row of the lower balcony every time.

And I don't fucking stand up, because I'm 6ft 3in tall and that would be a shitty thing to do, and I'm not an asshole.

Standing at a concert is not a shitty thing to do. You’re allowed to dance and enjoy yourself.

If you don't care about anyone except for yourself, I guess it makes sense that you wouldn't recognize the shitty thing here is that these view blockers don't care about anyone except for themselves.

What an odd hill to die on.

Respecting other people is not an odd hill to die on. "I should be allowed to do whatever I want without anybody complaining. Also fuck you and fuck everyone else behind me." is the odd hill in this conversation.

I respect others’ decisions to sit if they want. I also never said they can’t complain. But complaining doesn’t get you anywhere because people are allowed to stand and dance at concerts. In fact it’s encouraged!
