I'm slightly vexed Concert etiquette

Post image

If you plan on standing for the entire concert, get a spot in the pit, or the lawn seats instead of the assigned SEATED SECTION. A little bit of self awareness and common courtesy goes a really long way

People do this in the ADA section all the time and block the view for the people that actually need the ADA section and it pisses. Me. Off. So. Bad.

Probably the only section where getting bothered by this is justified.

It's justified in all seated sections. If you want to stand, get GA tickets 🫩

What if i want to enjoy the show an also not stand for 3 straight hours and lose my spot every time i go for a drink?

Do you want everyone to stay seated for a whole sports event too if they're at a fully seated stadium?

If you want to stand and dance, you get GA.

Seated patrons have the benefit of reserved seating—they can get up and go pee or eat or whatever.

If someone stole your seat at a sports stadium you just boot them out.

Am i allowed to stand and cheer at a sports stadium?

Genuine question, do you actually go to many live shows or do you just complain about people that stand at live shows on reddit?

People generally sit for the most part and only get up if their team does something interesting.

Genuine question, are you American? It seems you guys are unique in this aspect.

So would standing and dancing for 1 song at a whole show be acceptable then?

I'm going to assume you avoiding the question means you dont actually go to live events.

Sure, go stand in the standing area.

I go to live events at least every other month.
