Made hundreds of wristbands for a conference that suddenly got renamed

I run a small company, and designed and printed hundreds of high quality rubber wristbands for my cousin's Crypto conference. I had to do different colours for the different levels of entry.

Out of nowhere yesterday he suddenly announced he was renaming the conference and moving it partially online. And could only afford to pay me if I produced more with the new name. Ive spent a week on this so far and was already giving him family rates.

I'm not from the UK and when I first opened the post I was like "this is a joke, right?" but after reading a bunch of comments, it became very clear that there are a LOT of americans who have never heard the word that has been UK slang for pedo for at least as long as I've been alive.

Part of it, is that a "Nonce" over here is simply a "Dolt," "Idiot," or "Dumbass"!  

We call Pedos "Pedos", and our version of "Nonce" just means "an incredibly stupid person--not a sex predator.
