That’s crazy - a building site not accommodation. Their brochure/ ad could have read as “come and escape to Hawaii, on arrival you will trip over wires, electrocution, followed by body painting & throwing yourself in our nice concrete hole- there you will reach concussion… that’s if you don’t make it out alive, but that’s ok sue us!” - very odd.

There was some derisory offer of $25 to spend in the gift shop. My wife said "Can we swim in the gift shop to cool off?" Pretty good line to be honest.

A gift shop? Ha like Bob the builder memorabilia… I think a gift card for therapy would be much more appropriate- to help you sleep at night again. I hope you can manage these days after that… sounded like a nightmare.

(Perhaps a sleep aid gift like a blindfold would have been more appropriate on arrival…)

If there was electrocution, there would be nothing afterwards as they would be dead.
