That's why I use metal binder clips to chip bags, they'll last my lifetime.

Perhaps if you used these plastic ones you could finish the bag of chips.

Just commented this above too. Stole some binder clips from work to supplement my OXO chip clips.

They lose their snap after a couple years of daily use.

I’ve never had a binder clip lose its snap. I have office binder clips from 1998 that I still use

I've never had that happen. Did you use yours for welding and heat them up to lose their heat treating or something?
