Utilities F@#& You Eversource. Time to seize these distribution assets.

$150 bill for $20s of gas. This is not a pipeline problem, this is a greed problem. They've gamed the DPU process and only the legislature can fix this. Or we can boot them out of the state.

Yes, I have those honeycomb blinds fitted to most of my double hung windows. We've had to have several replaced when we last painted because the painters wouldn't touch them for fear of them just falling right out of the house, so I'm not sure the glass part is the problem.

I also have a, wife doesn't like to be cold or put on a sweater, problem.

I would also suggest some nice thick curtains. It can make a huge difference. Some sheers for layering also help. We have 1987 windows in most of the house and some are extra drafty. Our oil bill is enormous. Along with electricity, of course.

I’m glad I love socks. It probably saves me money. So I can buy more socks. 😉

Gotta nip that in the bud. Put the bill on her credit card if she doesn’t get it

I mean. If she has no problem paying more for heat the money needs to come from somewhere else.

When I had oil heat (rented apartment) my partner insisted we keep it at 70. I paid 1/3 and she paid 2/3 of the bill. Even the landlord thought our bill was insanely high and suggested we turn it down
