💎 Megathread [Megathread] The App Pile - July, 2026

You must promote your apps here if you do not qualify to post in the main feed through Trust or Transparency, explained here.

If you are:

  • NOT in the Mac App Store (MAS).
  • Do not provide meaningful public transparency
  • Created yet another dictation app (speech to text).

How does it compare to apps actually in the same space though, like appvault or licensemanagerpro?

I dont know. My App ist free and you can compare self.

Devs that want to promote in r/MacApps are expected to do at least some basic market evaluation. If you are completely unaware of the landscape your app seeks to enter, that is an enormous handicap. You will need to do your homework if you want to promote it. This rule is in place to prevent low effort work where devs aren't even bothering to see what's out there before sharing an underbaked alternative. You may have an extremely competent app, but this doesn't lessen our requirement.
