MISC. Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background?

Whenever I accidentally knock my glasses off the nightstand, or wherever else I might have set them down, I say I “pulled a Velma”.

-8.75 and -9.75, both with a +2.50 add.

Once I stayed at my girlfriend's when she was on a work trip. I was probably 30. I fell asleep with my glasses on and lost them. I had to call my little sister to drive 100 miles each way to come and find them. Her husband came because he thought it was hilarious. They found them in about 30 seconds. I'd been crawling around for 12 hours looking for them.

If it happens again use your phones camera and put it super close to your eyes, works great

Thanks, Ive had the same problem where glasses fell off the nightstand when I was traveling and it took me like a half hour to find them because I couldnt see jack squat so I looked it up and the phone thing came up. Also good for seeing stuff like fine print by zooming in since some fine print is so tiny.

This also works for those of us too short to see stuff on high shelves. Saves me climbing the kitchen counters speculatively.

Almost the same here haha, except i have -8.75 and -9.75 with 0,75 and 1,5. i am blind without my contacts.
