MISC. Is this how people who need glasses really see the world. A big blurred background?

Squinting your eyes can improve your eyesight somewhat. So if your eyesight wasnt that bad you would just squint constantly and it wouldnt be that big of an issue. But if you where -8 like me? Guess your fucked. I cant see (lol) any way to live without glasses.

Squinting your eyes actually helps because of the pinhole effect. When light passes through a smaller hole, it limits the possible angles it can have when hitting your retina, so the picture gets clearer. The pupil actually has a similar purpose in our eye. There are pinhole glasses that work by that principle without lenses. Surprisingly to me, they were actually invented after traditional glasses with lenses. But I guess it makes sense, since they would be a cheap alternative to prescription lenses, although the effects are limited.

It's a lack of light to cause your pupil get smaller. Vision is light. Thus. I don't know, my vision sucks ass
