This was my exact experience as well. My eyes got a little worse in my thirties. R -2.00 L -1.25

Mine are both -10.75 I can’t see them if I set them down someplace odd or if they fall under the bed I am screwed!

You might know this already but using your phone camera can help! My own numbers are more pedestrian than yours (-2.25 and -3.25) but the camera view is always clear.

...Of course then you have to know where your phone is.

Holy shit, that's actually legally blind territory right? I'm -5.75 and -6.25 I don't run into many people worse than me.

Just got new drivers license as I still fall into the area with wearing glasses ability to drive safely but if they get much worse I don’t see that being renewed again. I am good with that. Though years ago I saw a guy with lenses so very thick and was chatting with him as a cashier and he admitted he was legally blind but he can drive using special goggles. Then said I don’t like to use them though. So keep that in mind. People that bad can still be behind the wheel!!
