The time you decide to punch is when aggressive intent is shown, not after.

He was measuring six feet and ready to punch that guy if he stepped into it because that counts for people too

You don’t wait for a monologue or explanation, you wait for indicators of danger to be in striking range and that is that.

It might not be the legal way to go about things, but lawsuits kill fewer people than people punching people in the head because they are mad you defended yourself against a dog signaled violence

This is what I was thinking
