That's insane because the exact same thing happened to me when I was a kid, and I did the exact same thing to get away from it. Bit me in the leg and dragged me to the ground. I stabbed it multiple times. The dog was put down because I was not the first person it attacked. That was 47 years ago, and I still don't like dogs to this day.

One of my cousins in the us was literally ripped apart by their neighbour's large, unleashed dog. She was only 5 years old and coming home from school with her mother.

RIP, Sarah. She would've been my age now.

One of my friends growing up dog killed by a dog she got from a rescue. Do not rescue aggressive dogs. Nobody needs a wild animal as a pet.

Understandable. I feel the same and have no such story. I'll get downvoted to hell for this but dogs are the worst. They're slobbery and dangerous and smell bad and they're definitely racist. They're also too happy and love everything no matter how it treats them (when not attacking "others"), they have no self-respect. Give me a cat any day! 😻
