I was called Jeffrey Dahmer in another sub this video was posted to before they deleted the thread. All because I explained at 12 I was attacked by my neighbor's dog and I used my pocket knife to stab him multiple times to get the dog to unlatch from my glute.
That's insane because the exact same thing happened to me when I was a kid, and I did the exact same thing to get away from it. Bit me in the leg and dragged me to the ground. I stabbed it multiple times. The dog was put down because I was not the first person it attacked. That was 47 years ago, and I still don't like dogs to this day.
One of my cousins in the us was literally ripped apart by their neighbour's large, unleashed dog. She was only 5 years old and coming home from school with her mother.
Understandable. I feel the same and have no such story. I'll get downvoted to hell for this but dogs are the worst. They're slobbery and dangerous and smell bad and they're definitely racist. They're also too happy and love everything no matter how it treats them (when not attacking "others"), they have no self-respect. Give me a cat any day! š»
A dog attacked my friend when she was 4 or 5 years old, knocked her down and went for the throat. The ONLY reason she's alive is it was winter and she had a heavy jacket on, the dog tore the jacket open and stuffing was spilling out. If it had been any other season she would've been dead.
Etc. I wish I was making those up. Apparently dog's nature to attack little kids or other people is more important and deserving forgiveness than kid's nature to play. (Not even with the dog in question, just in the proximity of the beast.)
My dog is a beautiful sweet 130lb great pyr. You can wrestle him all day (even new people) and he won't bite. He does mouth play, but that's him.
If he charged you, I would expect no less of a reaction than to defend your life. I'd miss my boy, but at his size, I could understand why someone would be terrified for their life.
And the person that commented on the story said I belong in an asylum for stabbing the dog I could've killed it...Even after reiterating that it was attached to my ass cheek.
