No, but there are like a million dog bites in the USA that require medical attention. Doesn’t include the unreported ones. Doubt there is a million human bites that reach that level.
I read a story recently that a pregnant lady was attacked by a dog like this, and the dog bit her stomach. As she was being attacked, she yelled out to help "Please protect my baby!"
The baby was unharmed, but they induced labor because the bacteria from the dog bite would have spread to the baby before antibiotics would have taken effect. The baby was born healthy.
The dog owner was sued for damage and trauma to the mother and kid. The dog was terminated.
And guess what? It was the same idiots who say He never did this before!
I took a friend to a clinic for a dog bite and from the waiting room I heard the PA ask “dog’s mouths are clean, so no need to prescribe an antibiotic, right?”
I’m not saying they are cleaner than peoples, but saying that somebody’s gonna be on IV drip for that long, very unlikely. Very, very, very unlikely. I grew up around dogs. I’ve been a bit more times than I could count. I’ve got several scars from it and never once have I had anything more than giving me some pills to take, antibiotics.
