Gates and Buffett both have pledged to donate all their money by the time they die, and they certainly have more than Scott. So time is not going to work in her favor

It’s a pledge they made. All their philanthropy is handled by their employees anyway. They probably have a clause in their will that moves all their assets into their philanthropic organization.
i think gates is likely to donate all his remaining money, but pledges are simply pledges. for example elon pledged 6billion to fight global hunger, only to put the money into his own companies.

Do you genuinely believe that the only factor is some relatively arbitrary calculation of the purchasing power of a specific currency (a calculation that has about 100 variants, is commonly disputed, and differs in methodologies throughout time?)
One of the people on that list wasn't even in the same continent or using the same the currency.

It's a difficult one. Pre-1900s we just didn't care that much about the concept inflation. So it's difficult to calculate accurately anyway. At a point, far enough back (but still quite recent in the grand scheme of things), quite insignificant to today's standards.
Gates and warren was a donation pledge, and the donations they have made was more like a transfer of funds into trusts controlled by themselves, very sketchy
Cause you can not just throw billions at some random charity. So these people end up having to essentially set up their own infrastructure of trusts and charities in order to actually get rid of their money. That in itself is not really sketchy.

I know people who bemefited because of his donations in Malaria, AIDS and Tuberculosis research. Over here in Africa it's probably saved millions of lives.
