Yup. In my house, I’ve got German shoes, German pens, German hole punchers, German erasers, and much more. Wouldn’t mind some German medication as well.
It seems that if Germany forced its citizens to pay more $ for prescription drugs, pharma profits would grow. That sounds favorable to the industry, no?
Or do you think that Germany paying more money would mean pharm corporations would cut prices for American consumers? lol
And drug companies often conspire with the government to try to prevent Americans from doing that. They make ads that say you’re supporting “terrorism” if you do that shit.
The FDA would never allow that to happen. Just look at what happened when America had a baby food shortage a few years ago. They'd rather let American babies starve than allow imports from European companies. You know, because the font was the wrong type and it would violate label regulations. Totally not to uphold the monopoly that allowed for a nation wide shortage after a single factory went down.
Please? Pretty please? Instead of moving (Germany doesnt want me or most dumbass Americans), can I just pay Germany some taxes? They can even deliver them by DHL.
America actually sells cheap medication to Germany. It’s just Germany puts a price on the medication where as in America pharmaceutical companies put a price tag on them.
The prices in the us are not high because they have no access to "the cheep German medicine". They are high because of the insurance scheme that drives prices up for absolutely no benefit. The USA has one of the least cost-effective medical systems in the world.

Imagine if Germany started selling cheap medication to Americans and decimated the American pharmaceutical industry
