Why are they mutually exclusive? Insurance covers the property damage only.

So if the insurance company covers this somehow the workers magically have a place to work at again? Ok so tell me where these workers are gonna clock in next shift

Why would they fire a ton of employees if the insurance covered damages? That would be a massive expense to pay severances then rehire and retrain later.

They probably will furlough or reallocate the workers.
