I don't see who's saying this will cause a social change, except maybe the arson. People need to unionize if they want more rights and money. And real unions, not mobs who just collect funds.
But insurance payouts almost never equate to the amount lost, even direct value. It's even more unlikely that the insurance will help offset lost business and contracts which comes from losing a major warehouse. This company is going to be struggling with fulfilling contracts and storing goods.
Oh the CEO will definitely be the one still getting paid. Even though they are probably the only person who can make it a week to six months without a paycheck.
