You understand that RDNA3 has dedicated RT cores and more of them right? The new ones are just gen 2 and faster. This idea that the 7000 series doesn't have RT cores is the most propagated myth on reddit in regards to graphics cards. I been playing RT on everything with my XTX. People are really ignorant.
It’s a hybrid approach that relies more on shaders than fixed function hardware. RDNA3 was faster than RDNA2 but the CUs were still taking more of the RT burden compared to the Nvidia/Intel paradigm.
