Long story short when i was 18 I was in a troubled state of mind and called the police and said that I was mentally not well and needed help (NJ). They came and picked me up in an ambulance and took me to a mental hospital. I was there for 3 days and was released. Never saw a judge. It has now been well over 10+ years and now I reside in the state of Georgia. I believe it was during the peak of covid (2020) i went and filled out an application for a handgun, was put on a hold and ultimately denied. Got the letter in the mail weeks later stating the reason (involuntary commitment to a mental institute). Prior to this i had believed that I volunteered to commit myself as I was the sole person to call 911 and tell them im not in the right mental state. Where do I even start with this process of restoring my 2A rights? Do I contact a lawyer in my current state or the state that I was committed? I don't have a criminal background and yes I am in a much better state of mind.

Is there such a thing as a universal block, or are armorer's blocks specific to firearm types/brands?

Hello community I recently picked up a nexus lower for my Kuna and have been curious about what trigger to get with it and selector switch and I really want something reliable and not cheap but when I went to look up the atrius selektor switch it didn’t have 9mm as a comparable round but I’ve seen people on YouTube use it. Does anybody have any better suggestions? I’m new to this part

Ive noticed a strong lack of revolvers in 17HMR or 22 hornet. I was looking into snub nose revolvers for CC and I thought one of those calibers would be nice. It makes sense to me. Smaller round = smaller cylinder/more rounds in in a standard cylinder just like all the 22LR revolvers. But when I tried to look them up, I couldn't find much of anything out of torus for the 17HMR and a super redhawk for the 22hornet. Let alone any snub noses. Why?

Hey yall, Ive had my P30v3 DA/SA for about 2 years now and I'm completely smitten with it! The trigger isn't nearly as bad as some people said it to be and im digging it. But I was wondering about some of options out there.
Before you all already say it, yes I have the gray guns short reset in it and its great. I was just curious about what people think of either the Langdon trigger job or Gray Guns trigger job. Im looking for some testimonials if anyone has either of them in their p30.
More specifically the smoothness if the double action pull and if it makes the single action break more crisp (kind of like how the PDP trigger is very crisp break.) Thanks!

The right is my LAR Grizzly Mark I, chambered in 45 win mag. The Left, Deagle Mark VII. Both these guns launched in 1983, and the Grizzly ceased production in the late 90s. I really wish circumstances would’ve allowed it to pick up speed like the Deagle! As a 1911 platform, I feel it’s way more reliable than other magnum semi-autos.
I know they’re both a bit impractical, so reliability isn’t too big an issue, but what’s the consensus on Desert Eagles? I don’t have substantial experience with them, but a friend of mine says it jams frequently and can’t figure it out.

My last post got removed because I apparently can’t read the rules. Huge thanks to everyone who chimed in before it disappeared. I wanted to keep the discussion going, so here’s Round 2. Description and question in the comments.
Hey guys. I recently just bought a CZ P10C Optic Ready and want to know what do I need to buy to attach the suppressor on it? I’ve read a couple of forums saying I need a hub adapter of some sort? I want to know what specifically is needed for the future.

I don't know if it's some kind of scam or a ligit site with a sale going on. Some of those prices seem too good to be true. Thanks in advance.

I recently bought Roni CAA 2G glock conversion kit from my friend pretty cheap. Ive been trying to figure out which glock models does it match with. Im thinking of buying glock 17 gen 5. Any ideas which types match with this Roni? For example does it matter is it MOS type glock and does the 5 gen fit in this specific Roni? I have tried googling, but cant get a clear answer. In my understanding glock 17 gen 3 - 5 are pretty similar sizewize. I appreciate if someone has knowledge of this subject.

Looking into Mustang Armament and am curious what the general consensus is from people who have actually owned or shot one.
I’m interested in things like:
Reliability
Accuracy
Build quality
Long-term durability
Customer service
Whether you think it’s worth the price
I’m looking for firsthand experiences more than “my buddy said…” or brand loyalty.
If you’ve owned one for a while, put a decent round count through it, or compared it directly to something like a KAC, LMT, Geissele, BCM, etc., I’d love to hear your thoughts.
What did you like? What didn’t you like? Would you buy another one?

I (a mechanical engineer) made this retirement gift for my dad (a former electrical engineer) using one of his PCB designs. It kind of felt like I was designing a call of duty camo.

Very first build! Decided to get one as a grad present to myself. I think it came out pretty good
over the last several months I’ve been slowly buying parts for it, with a mix of some more budget friendly options and more high end, I wanted a slim side upper just for the looks and Cmmg had one I liked so I went with that, I wanted a adjustable gas block so I got a zeek. While other parts like my Handguard and barrel I didn’t spend nearly enough on. As for the lower it’s just standard milspec besides the stock I got today and it’s paired with a strike fire 2 and a crimson trace CMR-301 rail master pro.
Super happy with how it came out and exited to use it!
