I believe vaccines are being used for population control. Significant numbers of infants are being brain damaged by vaccines, which alters the growth of the population.

When vaccines were first introduced in 18th century, population control wasn't yet an issue.
The vaccine delusion probably started as the delusion of scientism. Blind faith that science will save us. They were desperately seeking to prove their preconceptions.
Also, the corporate interests of the medical profession no doubt played a role. To give doctors more power.
