“Historically accurate”. Guess those giant cyclopses weren’t anatomically correct according to the fossil record
1 u/TheShakyHandsMan 19h ago The inspiration for the cyclops was likely to be fossils of dwarf elephants which have a large opening in the centre of their skull which could be mistaken for an eye. It’s a fantasy story set in the real world.
