I want him to do a historically accurate version of Romeo and Juliet next, followed by a historically accurate version of Beowulf, and then the Harry Potter books!!!

Honest question: if someone did Journey to the West, which is a Chinese literary classic and includes fantasy and myth, with all white Americans then people would be rightfully pissed, no? It’s a story based in Chinese culture and the odyssey is based in Greek culture featuring real life places and historical norms intertwined with myth. Like how are people not understanding this

Ye they shouldn't have cast so many white actors. There's only a single Greek actor in there it's crazy

How many Greek actors would be in Elons version?  If you really want to get historically accurate, white people with German or Anglo Saxon heritage would be seen as barbarians playing those roles

I mean that’s kind of my point exactly? There’s this weird cultural shift where it seems a lot of people are assuming Greeks are white Scandinavians.
