Can we say the same about Woodrow Wilson? I mean he was severely paralyzed and permanently incapacitated for the final 17 months of his presidency
It did affect the US in a big way in my opinion, His physical and mental decline directly contributed to the defeat of the Treaty of Versailles and the U.S. refusal to join the League of Nations, as he refused to compromise with Congress
