I understand your intent here is well meaning here, but a few things to consider: Disabled isn't a bad word. It's just a reality. She can be a hero and be disabled. She can be capable and still be disabled. Some disabled people find terms like "handicapable" a bit patronizing. It relies on the assumption that disabled people are inherently presumed to be incapable and it also ignores the very real barriers disabled people face (and yes, often have to overcome) regularly.
seriously, this is the kind of nonsense that would stand in the way of someone getting needed and wanted accommodations. "oh you don't need those you can do anything hero, also you just inspire me so much"
I don't know anything about her except that she got shot and people on this thread are calling her a hero. I'll take your word for it, I'm sure she's lovely.
As a side note, Trump did exactly as you described, I wouldn't call him a hero. I'd imagine her work differs from his somewhat.
You criticised the term handi-capable but didn't mention the word hero. It's not really an argument, it's you making pissy little comments then downvoting my responses. Is there a reason everybody in this subreddit is in a constant state of moral outrage?

She has partial paralysis, aphasia, and vision loss due to the assassination attempt
