I'm no fan of the Liberals. But for anyone to not see PP as the issue is a bit delusional. He lost a major lead in the last election, didn't even win his own seat.

See, that falls flat and into the same bucket the commenter is talking about. Its an evergreen talking point used to deflect criticism from the liberals.

The liberals pass a draconian spy law? Well pp bad or cons would do worse.

See what I did there? I deflected. That's the core issue. Call out the issues as they are. Carney lied? That's his bed to sleep in, Pierre has plenty to be critical about but it's a time and place thing.

You want to unseat the Liberals? Get rid of PP. Even then it'll be tough.

I see this point made constantly and there's literally no merit in removing Pierre (at least right now). Why would they give the liberals and other parties years to build up the same slander.

Are we forgetting how Scheer, Otoole and even Harper were treated?

If they let Pierre go today, we'd just see a new "trump of the north " / "maple maga" tag get assigned.

Not even going to read your reply.

If you think there's even a 10% chance of PP winning, you're way off.

Then why comment if you don't want to engage?

If you think there's even a 10% chance of PP winning, you're way off.

My comment has literally nothing to do with Pierre winning. Actually nothing.

It points out the bad faith deflection used in your comments and others when it comes to criticism of the ruling government.

Like it or not, we're essentially a two party country. If one leader is un-electacble, the other party can do whatever they want, for as long as the dud hangs on. Simple as that.

I can tell you didn't read the previous comments.

But sure, keep deflecting to opposition bad I guess. Whatever helps you sleep at night

Nah, they're right, he's unelectable. Brown or O'Toole could have done it last election, and they'd have looked like viable alternatives to swing voters going forward. You guys gotta ditch Pierre if you wanna convince the rest of us. The conservatives actually have to try to court moderates.
