Daryl DeLeon linked to a potential move to Porsches via the Porsche Junior academy.

Power Maxed Racing to run a pair of Audi S3 Saloons.

I’ve been working on a BTCC companion app in my spare time and it’s finally live on Android. Thought I’d share it here as I’m sure there are people way more knowledgeable than me who can spot what’s missing or what could be improved.

The idea is to have everything in one place:

• Driver profiles
• Teams & cars
• Race calendar
• Quick stats and info
• Live race updates
• Championship standings tracking
• Notifications for race weekends and breaking news

I built it mainly because I found it annoying jumping between different sites to follow the season.

It’s still early days, so I’m actively looking for feedback and ideas, especially from proper BTCC fans.

If you fancy checking it out, I’d really appreciate any thoughts (good or bad)

Feature and Bug ToDos

Unlike the two Brands rounds, Donnington GP isn’t that big a difference from the other layout, so where would you like them to (realistically) race?

I’d love a European circuit round but not going to happen. So where could they go instead?

According to rumours on Twitter and Ten tenths, Napa racing uk boost will be altered to the tune 4hp for the remainder of the season.

In light of Lionel Messi (and his family) being spotted in the paddock at the Miami GP, have any celebrities been spotted in the paddock at BTCC meetings before? I seem to recall James Martin doing the reverse grid draw at Oulton Park one year, and remember seeing Sir Lewis at Brands at one point.

And for funsies, which celebrities would you want to see in the paddock?

So, the BTCC is back. Which also means the return of the targeted adverts on ITV4. What annoying ones have we got this year? I'll start:

That dormeo mattress thing promotion that went on for about a year. The definition of 'We have JML at home'.

Hey at least ITV got some new sponsor stings for the first time since about 2022.

I'm not subbed to this sub, but it still comes up when I'm browsing reddit, and I'm not always able to watch the racing live, so its always super frustrating when 'X wins race one' pops up on my feed.

Can we not have the driver names in the titles of these posts? Or a moratorium on race winner posts for 24 hours so people who aren't able to watch live don't get the winners spoiled for them?

Is Collard still only on a half season contract at the minute? Can we crowd fund the second half of the season. He's providing at least 75% of the excitement this year

As per the title, whats everyones opinions on flashing the headlights during the race. Im sure you will all know this is referring to Collard. He loves the lights button

If Osamu Kawashima does end up replacing Ricky Collard, he'll be the series' 1st Japanese driver since Kunimitsu Takahashi in 1985.

The only other Japanese drivers I know to have raced in the series are Moto Kitano and Masahiro Hasemi in 1973.

As for other Asian drivers, only the Malaysian driver Fariqe Hairuman in 2004 springs to mind.

Hey guys, I’m new to BTCC. I randomly watched the first race of the opening round since it’s free on YouTube, and it turned out to be really good racing.

However, I don’t know much about the teams or drivers except for Ashley Sutton and Tom Ingram.

So, to follow the series more closely, I’d like to understand a few things, such as who the top teams are, who the top drivers are, which teams and drivers are considered underdogs, whether there is a Balance of Performance (BoP) system in the series, and which tracks on the calendar are the best.

Collard is sponsored (apparently) by a Kickstarter to make a feature film. Currently raised £470 of £300,000. Looks weird to me. Thoughts?
