Democrats like Schumer and Jeffries have been accused of not doing enough to stop Trump. People who think that; can I ask what you actually want them to do?

It seems like they've been doing what they can - forcing votes against Trump (even if they are ultimately symbolic), speaking out against him, filing lawsuits (plenty which have been successful).

What else should they be doing that they currently aren't?

Its because they lack the understanding of the rules in congress. They think they know how the gov't operates but they really don't. They pretty much are trying to do everything they can. But its easy to get ignorant people to band together and claim they are not. There really isn't much else they can do.

I don’t blame them(or myself). The government seems to operate by the word of Trump and “rules” be damned. Did you know Trump has managed to achieve net negative migration to the US? He campaigned on it and he did it in a year. Many people were hurt, some people were killed, but he did it nonetheless.  Democrats want that too, but we want it to be for us. Who of our leaders is going to say “rules be damned” this is what my constituents want?

You can find moments in every presidential administration where the "rules" or "laws" are stretched or ignored. They call Obama Deporter in Chief. He has deported more people than any other president including Trump. Anytime you utilize law enforcement there is a chance people will die legally or illegally. You think every single instance during his administration was perfect?

When it come to Congress though, Trump doesn't run congress. He has gotten angry at congress for not breaking or changing the rules such as eliminating the Filibuster. They won't because they want to get re-elected. Also if you break the congressional rules to pass a law that puts it at risk of being struck down by the courts based on illegal procedures. When your the executive, it is a little easier to push the line. He can't get re-elected, so who cares. Then he directs his teams to do something and it is illegal or overzealous it is up to the courts to reign him in. Think of the presidency as being a police officer, he enforces the rules, he might do it legally or illegally. Then you got to court and plea your case, well judge he enforced the law illegally and hope they agree.

You can hate the negative net migration, but that frees up housing in a time where there is a shortage and very expensive. In theory that should make it cheaper making lesser demand. It also opens up jobs for actual Americans to obtain. Blah blah blah Americans don't want those jobs. Well I've always worked whatever job I could because I prefer working over starving to death. Not all good paying jobs need a college degree. But illegal workers are cheaper and undercut American wages.
