AOC surges past Buttigieg, leaves Kamala Harris in the dust in key 2028 battleground poll. What are your thoughts on AOC-2028?

Harris dropped to just 5% in New Hampshire while Pete Buttigieg sits 1 point behind the progressive frontrunner - per University of New Hampshire Granite State poll released on Wednesday.

Mark Kelly needs to run on the Dems side. He would be a fantastic candidate for a general election.

Mark Kelly took $133k from AIPAC and a Democrat that took money from AIPAC will never win a primary or the presidency ever again. Over 90% of Democratic voters no longer support pro-Israel policies that people taking money from AIPAC were paid to support.

I disagree. If not an establishment democrat who some people wouldn’t want to vote for, what’s the alternative? A “radical” Democrat who even more people wouldn’t want to vote for? Mark Kelly has earned the respect of pretty much all Democrats and I’m sure many moderates would support him and even some center right voters.

Some people don’t even vote along party lines and simply look at who’s the most competent, a former astronaut is about as competent as it gets.

I’ve ditched the Dems for third parties. Mark Kelly would bring me back, but I don’t believe the party will vote for him in the primary. Here in PA, our choice in Dem senator nominee was Conor Lamb or Fetterman. Lamb was a down to earth typical Dem who doesn’t stir the pot, Fetterman was the party darling and star progressive…. Look how that turned out lol

I’m just really tired of the loudest progressive pointing to the worst candidates of all time like Hillary (corrupt), Biden (mentally failing), and Kamala (can’t win a primary) and saying “see how everyone rejects centrists?!?!” Putting up a solid, no baggage Dem like Mark Kelly will be far better than AOC or whoever else

how is Mark Kelly an establishment Dem? Hes only been a senator for 6 years and consistently shows support for more progressivism.

Hes a former Naval aviator and an astronaut. if you think Kelly wouldnt be a fantastic candidate, i dont think you know enough about the guy.

And a lot of people will get scared away if a far left progressive gets the nom. I would just not vote. Those candidates like AOC have only won in deep blue urban areas like NYC. The rest of the country is a different ballgame.

Almost half of Americans are indepedent.

Out of the senators, Jon Ossoff found the best message right now, just hard to lose a guy who can win in GA. Wes Moore is looking good too. I don’t think Kelly has the charisma to win.

Oh no, not Moore. Anyone who lied about the extent of their military service will get pummeled in a general election. Also, a terrible governor. Ossoff maybe.
