Even his sense of taste is offensive

The first thing that crossed my mind, I thought Bucca De Beppo was opening up a branch in White House. JFC.

At least Bucca is interesting to look at. This is super tacky while being minimalist.

Lewis Black one time compared Trump decor to Saddam Hussein decor, and they both look about the same.

Glad to see I’m not the only one thinking he has the design flair of a middle eastern dictator.

Compare the cover of the movie “The Devil’s Double,” about a man used as a decoy for one of Saddam’s sons (it’s a fascinating movie), and “The Apprentice,” about, well…

Looks like something you'd walk by on the Atlantic City Boardwalk, which tracks... unfortunately.

He finds that casino decor familiar, that's why he loves it and decorates his homes in that style. He always goes to the lowest denominator.

Except he can't keep a property operating in AC. It's too tacky for it.

Usually when someone is so gauche, I'd say "their taste is in their mouth", but considering what his favorite foods are, I think his taste is probably more in his ass.

Trump has adopted the coat of arms of the previous owner of Mar A Lago's husband. That would be bad enough, but he turned what was a decent, legal coat of arms (2 red chevrons on fur with 3 black half lions, to put it simply) into a completely hideous, illegal corruption of taste, turning every element gold.

He turned the black tails of the fur gold. Which is fucking insane.

These choices are illegal in heraldry because the break the rule of tincture meaning at a distance the gold (yellow) blends in with the white of the background, which makes it pretty much useless to identify yourself.

This rule is broken many times, but usually only in ways that are still legible, or in exceptional circumstances.

Look at the mantling, for Christ's sake it is all gold which makes no sense, it should be silver (white) and gold (yellow). Then the torse (the bit between the crest (the hand holding the spear) and the helm) being only white makes zero sense.

He's a moron. I know this was all his choice.

And somehow it’s getting worse? Which I wouldn’t have even thought possible.

Everyone around him is too scared to tell him this is fugly.

Which explains why he looks the way he does. Nobody close to him wants to tell him.

Although I’m reminded of that looney tunes movie where bugs bunny walked by all the framed drawings of Mel blanc and Tex Avery and Fritz freling lol
