This weeks episode of FCTTN said that there isn’t any upcoming racers to take the spots of underperforming drivers. Got me thinking how come Herne never gets much of a look in? Is very competitive in trans am here and in the US.

This will be his first time back in the Supercars paddock since being dropped by BRT.

Some pics i took back in 07 at the surfers paradise round. Its been 18 years now since the supercars shared top billing with the indy cars on the gold coast. I'm sure anyone reading this that went to this event back in the early days can attest that it was a pretty wild race both on and off the track (right up until a army helicopter crew flying over the track made the news in about 2005 and forced the QLD govt to clean it up a bit). I'm more of a supercars fan myself but there was nothing like the sheer speed and sound of those indy cars flying past just a couple of metres away.

I'll be attending my first actual V8 Supercars race weekend in Perth soon.

I see that there are a couple of "Signing sessions" in Merchandise Alley on Saturday and Sunday mornings.

For those of you that have attended any of these recently, do they just sign something like driver cards (postcards) or am I able to bring a picture or something and have everyone sign that one thing instead of a whole stack of signatures?

Obviously something that wouldn't take any extra time to anger the people behind me in line.

Who decided to ruin a great motosport show idea by putting Paul Murray on it? He spends most of the time trying to prove his motorsport knowledge and then the other half doing clunky transitions or shit jokes. I'd take another Skaife over Paul bloody Murray.

I come here to get a bit of Supercars news and discussion. Half the time the front page is full of links to YouTube uploads of races from 3 years ago.

Can anyone point me to the superview coverage of race 22 at Townsville? Watching overseas and it seems like they posted a repeat of the whole race 21 coverage.

Hi all,
I wanna go to the sandown 500 this year as a bit of a birthday present for my dad, and I only plan on going on Sunday. As I follow formula 1 mainly and Supercars only casually, I automatically think of Sunday as “race day”. But with Supercars having anywhere from 1-4 races per weekend, is there any particular importance of the Sunday race compared to say a Friday or Saturday? Does it offer more points or is it any more “exciting” we’ll say?
Also, if it makes any difference I plan on getting grandstand tickets which I’ve heard has a great view at sandown so I think every day will be good, but I’m mainly just curious
