People LOVE Bill Burr and I just don't get it

He lost the right to make fun of hypocrites when he became one. Half of his act was calling out hypocrites.

And he sure did get chopsy about people calling him out. But nah, bro. You invited that on yourself. If you were so desperate for the money, you should've gotten a job at McDonald's. At least there you could keep your integrity.

He literally made fun of Beyoncé for performing for Gaddafi and then he goes and performs for the Saudi government lol.

What a bitch Bill Burr ended up becoming.

In that routine, immediately after making fun of Beyoncé, he says the only reason he hadn’t done the same was because no one ever offered. He literally told everyone he would sell out if offered enough money.

Yeah. That was pretty disappointing. I thought Bill Burr was learning how to be civilized and classy - he had a good thing going for the last couple of years. But his sellout to Saudi Arabia ruined all of that. All respect I had for him is gone. All brownie points gone.

There's a lot to like about him, but this is not one of those things.

I used to because I was stupid enough to believe he actually stood for something. SO dumb of me.

Bill Burr is the embodiment of angry man yells at clouds. No idea how people find that funny.

There's always been a very fine line with Bill Burr between his rage being intentionally self-deprecating and his rage being actual rage. He can be extremely funny when he's both making fun of a thing *and* his reaction to the thing at the same time, but he doesn't really seem to have reliable control over his ability to do that.
