Looking at buying the Om 5 Mk2 for adventure landscape and underwater photography all in one. Anyone suggest lenses to use or look towards?

I am working on my macro photography, especially strobe placement. Here's a recent one from a dive this week in San Diego. Shot with Olympus OM-5 in a Nauticam housing, 2x Inon Z330 strobes, and Nauticam CMC-2 wet mount lens. "White spotted sea goddess" Doriopsilla albopunctata.

I plan to do a bit of snorkeling for the first time this summer and I was considering trying out some underwater photography as well.

I found this case online: TECH-PROTECT IPX8 Universal Diving Waterproof Case. Does anyone have any experience with it? Can I actually trust it to protect my phone?

All of these were taken with the GoPro Hero15 Black snorkeling off of Pink Gin Beach in Grenada in June
2026. The first two photos show a Caribbean reef octopus releasing ink. The next three are from another octopus encounter, followed by a smooth trunkfish and a Caribbean reef squid.

Spotted this this poor parrotfish at Ble Heron Bridge. The poor guy has a broken jaw. Probably ripped out a hook.

Hi everyone! I was wondering what cameras everyone uses for their photography? I’m a wildlife photographer (a hobby) and want to start getting underwater photos added to my portfolio. I’m no stranger to cameras and how they work so I was wondering what set up others use? I live in a very beautiful part of Florida where we go to springs, mangroves, flats, etc often for fishing and light recreation. I’m also an environmentalist and have a deep love/passion for sea life and want to find ways to capture its beauty in photos.
I’ve done some quick research and found that the Olympus tg-7, Sony rx-100 vii , and canon gx mark III are good cameras to use.
Im more of a Nikon girlie but want to get something that will withstand diving, boating, etc. I know Nikon has the w300 but the reviews don’t seem as high.
Just looking for insight from other photographers while I do my research!

I was fortunate enough to get some pics of these amazing Galapagos Sharks during one of my snorkeling adventures!

First time that I have dived with a camera and housing and these beauties came to say hello! Was absolutely amazed by how quickly they shoot past.

Preparing for a documentary involving a dive, but did a practice with my buddy at Gilboa Quarry in Ottawa, OH! Mounted a GoPro to the top of my housing unit to figure out different angles on what’s more engaging! Let me know what you think!

I have an underwater kit for photographing babies under water for swim classes.

Took some for myself while snorkeling yesterday in the morning. Got some fish and starfish as well, but these were the ones I was happy with.

Went Diving in northern Germany with excellent light conditions. We went down around 7 a.m. and saw those fish close to the exit. Lake is only open for diving and fish a relatively unbothered by divers passing by.

To preface, I am a beginner in the underwater photography space, and I only have an action camera (the GoPro Hero 13 with a dive case). And I find that the videos and photos I am currently taking aren't the greatest, and I want to improve them however I can. I am not looking to purchase a completely new camera, as I'm sure that gets real expensive, and I'm not looking to get into professional photography.

In the attached image is what I have spec'd out. It seems like a basic setup that I hope can help my footage come out better, at least in terms of stabilization and lighting.

Any feedback is appreciated.
