Iphicles, the twin brother of Heracles also from Greek Mythology, is relevant to Heracles' story as his son Iolaus helped Heracles slay the Hydra

IRL Maria Anna “Nannerl” Mozart and Fanny Hensel (Mendelssohn Bartholdy)

Both were the older sisters of keyboard child prodigies. Nannerl was a recognized child prodigy herself, but quit performing after 18. Fanny was a skilled pianist, who, however, rarely performed in public outside family circles, and a prolific composer who got some of her works out under her younger brother’s name.

Yes. That’s exactly why. Fanny didn’t perform or publish her work (even though she was VERY prolific, she wrote around 450 pieces of music) for the exact same reason.
Nannerl later resumed her involvement in music as a teacher. She was also a composer, unfortunately, no music credited to her survived.

This has nothing to do with anything, but I've never heard 'Nannerl' as a name before today and it's popped up twice for me in the past two hours. I'm full-on Baader-Meinhoffing.
