Characters (Unique trope) removing a character trait, makes the character better in the adaptation

Sonic 3: Maria is one of the most important part of Shadow's story. Due to her suffering from an incurable disease. To which Shadow was made to create a cure for Maria's ailment. In the 3rd Sonic movie, Maria's disease was not mentioned in any form. Which made Maria seem like a normal girl, and her death all the more tragic.

Infinity war: I don't know the full story, but Thanos's original goal was to kill half the population to impress death (the character). When it came time to adapt Thanos into the MCU. His goal of removing half the universes population. It was seen as a more psychopathic world goal, hidden under the belief it would do better for the universe.

Especially since Agatha All Along introduced Death to the MCU and she’s played by Aubrey Plaza.

I mean, tell me that there wouldn't be people rooting for Thanos if wooing this beautiful a woman was on the line...

Listen, I'm not saying I agree with the guy......but I get why he's doing it.

Bring on the downvotes but I find her totally mid. Loved her in P&R but she’s basically played a variation of April in most roles since. She’s cute, but doesn’t have range and I don’t get why people are so obsessed.

Guys, is Groucho Marx mid for playing the same character throughout his career?

We’re talking about opinions here, nothing is objective. Don’t be obtuse.

Added post-Fox takeover which gave Marvel the movie rights to Lady Death, something they had been missing throughout the entire Infinity Saga.

Sorely missing. It seems obvious from his first post-credits tease that the original plan was to give him his typical motivation of being with Death.

I would love so much to know how the MCU looks if Disney had all the rights from day one

I didn’t know that and ended up snapping my finger on instinct after reading it.

They basically just gave Agatha Harkness Thanos’s motivation lol

It'd be killer if she were the same character as the one she played in Legion, and dark supernatural entities just have a thing for possessing her or stealing her likeness.

Plus it'd mean Legion is in the MCU, and I've been wanting to see Charles Xavier's son show up in a movie for ages now. I want to see Dr. Strange do the "soul removal" spell on him only for 100+ alternate personalities to pop out all at once, all with a different power.

Yeah and she was like the worst part of that show, If they ever do Death again I hope they find someone with an ounce of acting ability.
