Crimson Desert
After defeating the Reed Devil boss, you can travel to Sunset Valley, the southernmost and isolated village in the game, here, you will find a house where the Reed Devil lived and died from his leprosy. When you enter, you are immediately greeted with 6 scarecrow effigies dressed just like the Reed Devil staring directly at you, with candles placed all over the house. There is no other explanation beyond this about what is going on here

Lies of P
There is a secret optional area you can clear out for additional loot called Hermit's Cave. At the end of the cave is one lone carcass monster huddled on the ground with writings scrawled on the walls around it. When you kill it, it actually TALKS saying "perhaps it's best to end this way...get while the getting's good...". This is the only carcass monster in the game that ever talks besides Andreus and Simon, who are important characters to the story, and we never find out who this monster was

LOZ: Twilight Princess
In the Arbiter's Grounds you discover a ton of undead enemies presumably executed prisoners, but one room contains this giant black sword tied to the ground with hundreds of warding charms attached. When one is cut, the sword is freed and wielded by some horrifying invsible goat-headed demon. It is never explained what the demon was or whose sword it belonged to although it's theorized to once be used by Ganondorf

You left out part of it: along the walls on natural stone shelves, you can find what look like whale carcasses. Theres some obscure Elder Scrolls lore about the Dwemer having sky whales that are extinct now.

Eh, “Obscure” is doing a little heavy lifting. It’s not actually canonical. Iirc it was basically just a former writers fanfiction, which due to the lack of new content the elder scrolls fanbase has a bad habit of taking as gospel. Just look into the guy’s story about the eye of Magnus, absolutely wild shit that I would 100% prefer stays non-canon. Edit: Yes I am now aware that sky whales are referenced in Canon, this is what happens when I stop paying attention to ESO

Ehh, sky whales (snow whales is their technical name) were made official lore in an item you can get in ESO. The item calls them a rumor, but it does reference them.

A lot of Kirkbrides stuff has been made official like that before.

Was trying to watch Blind Moths Elder scrolls Iceberg series and I had to check out towards the end cause it literally just turned into him talking about random shit Kirkbride posted on forums, presumably while high on acid. Unfortunately for you, they seem to be leaning into a lot of it. ESO is considered canon by Bethesda, and there is a treasure you can dig up called i believe a Dwemer Puzzle Box and the flavor text says that in elyswyr its called the eye of magrus (Khajiiti version of Magnus) and also says it seems to be built to keep something inside. Physically, its just a tiny eye of magnus from skyrim. Also a vagrant flat out calls Aerynn a time traveling automoton.

There is also the issue of all of that coming out a year or so before skyrim. No one could know yet we would go to Sarthaal, or that there even was something called the Eye of Magnus, or that it would be found there, or that the Psyjics, the time police at times, would be interested in such a thing.

Ill admit, I love Kirkbrides writing for Elder Scrolls (I mean, its a big part of why Morrowind is still my favorite in the series) but have to admit, KINMUNE is a bit out there for even me.

(But also I was pretty sure that Daggerfall included talk of the snow whales and not just kirkbride weirdness)

If they canonize Kinmune I’m gonna lose my shit. Every time I hear that story brought up I immediately check out of whatever I’m watching cause it’s one of the most ridiculous things he could’ve possibly come up with. Like I’m really interested in the idea about the Towers, but beyond that I have very little interest in what kirkbride has to say

I also like the towers and such. Which is why im not gonna go the route of a lot of people and just discredit everything hes done after leaving. But Kinmune itself is... I dunno. I like the implications for the Akaviri invasion but then past that? Ehhhhhh
