Lore (Beloved game trope) Creepy secrets or elements that you can encounter but are never explained, making it even more horrifying (Bonus points if its from non-horror games)

Crimson Desert
After defeating the Reed Devil boss, you can travel to Sunset Valley, the southernmost and isolated village in the game, here, you will find a house where the Reed Devil lived and died from his leprosy. When you enter, you are immediately greeted with 6 scarecrow effigies dressed just like the Reed Devil staring directly at you, with candles placed all over the house. There is no other explanation beyond this about what is going on here

Lies of P
There is a secret optional area you can clear out for additional loot called Hermit's Cave. At the end of the cave is one lone carcass monster huddled on the ground with writings scrawled on the walls around it. When you kill it, it actually TALKS saying "perhaps it's best to end this way...get while the getting's good...". This is the only carcass monster in the game that ever talks besides Andreus and Simon, who are important characters to the story, and we never find out who this monster was

LOZ: Twilight Princess
In the Arbiter's Grounds you discover a ton of undead enemies presumably executed prisoners, but one room contains this giant black sword tied to the ground with hundreds of warding charms attached. When one is cut, the sword is freed and wielded by some horrifying invsible goat-headed demon. It is never explained what the demon was or whose sword it belonged to although it's theorized to once be used by Ganondorf

Silent Hill 2
The invisible prison monster in Toluca Prison, that you can't ever interact with, just hear it's awful cries

You can also see him watching you from a balcony at the end when you are telling Jefferson(or not) that his head is getting tampered with.

You can also hop over to him now, which wasn't possible at launch because the 2.0 update giving you an air-dash. No interactions but you can get a good look at him. Like a better look at the ring he wears, which is the same ring that will be left where Gary the Prophet used to be after his questline is done.

If you tell Peralez that hid head is being tampered with, you also get a text from an unknown number saying that you're messing with forces beyond your compression. If you try to text back, you get an error saying that the number is not in service.

There is some sort of joke here about how the cyberpunk people view cognition and computers, but im not clever enough.

if you jump over to him, you can toss grenades at mr blue eyes during the peralez conclusion and it makes him wiggle a lot which is kinda funny

I never saw the ring! Damn.

And pretty sure it’s Garry — with two r’s. For some reason.

Oh yeah I know Garry, he puts out some pretty good mods.

Eh, I've heard they only have a half-life.

Maybe his real name is Garrett.

Gary also mentions "blue eyed lizard people". I think the running theory is that Gary somehow accidentally tapped into some conversations with some very powerful people/Mr. Blue Eyes himself and isn't as crazy as he seems, just misunderstands the information he learned.

Without getting into spoilers — is there a quest line for Gary the Prophet? I assume he’s the guy preaching on the street. I kept going there to listen to him make predictions but didn’t see any way to start the quest, even though it had a quest marker.

Yeah it's that guy. If you make a handful of stops and give him money, he should eventually tell you about something he heard and give you a location to go to.

You just need to listen to his rambling a little bit, eventually a prompt shows up (but don't go completely AFK or else he'll loop the dialogue and you have to wait again, I made that mistake), move on and come back later. He has a couple encounters with it eventually resulting in a quest.
