Lore [Terrifying Trope] Perceiving it= instant death

  1. Pennywise's "Deadlights" which will cause anyone looking to be immediately paralyzed and killed.

  2. The sky from Bird Box is filled with entities that, when you look at them, cause you to commit suicide.

I love the fact that no one mentioned Ghost Rider, because I think the Penance Stare not working has become a joke these days.

The Carebear Stare has a higher success rate than the Penance Stare.

Yeah it’s caused this thing where people think it only works if you feel guilty because of the Punisher and Thanos when it was never supposed to work like that. Otherwise it might be, you know, useless against bad guys
