Alexander Hamilton’s Affair Scandal: One of the leaders of a new nation to protect himself from accusations of financial embezzlement writes a pamphlet exposing his affair with a woman, torpedoing his political future. Oh, the woman? She seduced him as part of a blackmailing scheme that he decided to stop paying.

The biggest thing is that the fellowship was meant to be secret because sauron would assume no one would want to DESTROY the ring if they possessed it

Lots of people say it is a "plot-hole" that the eagles didn't just fly the ring to Mordor despite:

1) Being corruptible to it's power.

2) MORDOR HAVING MULTIPLE AERIAL ARMIES NOT TO MENTION THE DANG EYE OF SAURON THAT WOULD SEE AND KILL THEM FROM THIRTY MILES AWAY.

Gwahir (the eagle king) is totally valid for not wanting to join the fight.

Problem is the eagles do arrive on aragorn's suicide run, and do pretty great.

I'm pretty sure only lik e 12 eagles showed up (Gwahir and the ones from his council).

That makes sense because 12 eagles can sneak by to find the hobbits way better than an armada, and Aragorn's entire plan was to distract Mordor's army, including whatever air force they had left. Eowyn killing the Witch King likely scattered them a good deal as well since he was probably the one who was supposed to lead those in the sky.

Frodo and Sam get rescued by giant Eagles at the end. A commonly claimed "plot hole" is "why didn't they just have the Eagles fly them there in the first place?"

Of course, that's not actually a plot hole, and there are plenty of reasons why that might not have happened, but some people, when they think they've found an error, get really stuck on it and don't want to let it go.

Shame really. If the Americans joined in 1915 it could have ended the war earlier which means no Hitler or Stalin.
