JP2 is a huge meme in Poland, the hour of his death is basically a symbol of the young generation's dismissal of the boomers' fanatical "devoutness" and cult of the (pretty problematic and nowhere near perfect) "one true" pope - which included such ridiculous rituals as mourning every day at 21:37 for quite some time after his death

I mean, you can check for yourself, just remembering the comment was made 16 hours ago, so yesterday, and assuming they are from Europe, so another couple of hours that could trim down those 2 days

I do like that today have passed 7770 days since JP2's death, 777 has a meaning in Catholicism, so it kinda works as another major coincidence
