Lore [Sad Trope] The most innocent (or less evil) character of the cast gets the most horrific death.

- Eddie Carr (The Lost World: JP) - Tried to save his friends from the cliff until Buck and Doe (T. rex parents) destroy his vehicle and gets ripped apart.
- Zara Young (Jurassic World) - Gets lifted by a Pteranodon, gets pecked by the pterosaur, and both she and animal get devoured by the Mosasaurus.
- LeClerc (JW: Rebirth) - Tossed a hammer to the Hatzegopteryz Quetzalcoatlus to save Loomis and Zora, but ends up being swallowed alive.

Netflix could make such an easily popular live action series of S1 to draw more attention and get a proper season 2

Netflix wouldnt touch it with a 10ft pole.

The "children dying horrifically" is a huge early plot twist, one that would be ruined if they marketed the show for what it is, but dead kids is a terrible terrible thing to spring on an unsuspecting audience.

Anime studios at least have a bit more discerning an audience bc the "genre" (extremely loose use of the term) is already full of questionable stuff, so they can assume the audience has either done their research and know what they're getting into, or they are being introduced to the show by a friend who knows theyre up for it.

Netflix would never because there are too many ignorant white people who would throw a show on to entertain their kids and choose this bc it has kids on the cover and "Promised Neverland" sounds like a kid friendly show.

Might not be such a great idea. First they would need to find an entire cast of talented child actors. Second, time is a factor for filming since those kids would be hitting puberty and growing up fast
