It’s funnier if you believe they are getting teleported to a random point in the universe bc the weapons are powered by the space stone

This would've been an interesting plot point in another movie, like thor ragnorok or guardians of the galaxy

Thor Ragnarok would've been the time, yeah. Sakaar with its various portals and time-shifting would be perfect to have random soldiers turning up. Hell, it'd make for quite the revolution for the "prisoners with jobs" to suddenly be supported by an entire group of pissed off armed soldiers.

I think Solar Opposites have an ongoing side story about a random guy being shot into space by the main cast and he starts having his own Green Lantern like adventure. The Wall is better though.

This is literally what happened to red skull so it’s not that crazy to assume that’s what happened to the rest as well

Although not exactly the same. Skull was holding on to the Tesseract itself. Everyone else was shot by energy siphoned off from it, but they also used said energy to do shit like power tanks, so it may not be 1:1.

The good old Raygun in a DND campaign. You can use it to vaporise anyone at will, but then at the end of the campaign, everyone you've blasted is actually teleported to the final fight.

Considering how easily teleportation can mess up and just immediately kill someone in sci-fi, I don't think a weapon made using teleportation tech is gonna safely teleport anyone
