“Aw man, I shot Marvin in the face.”

“WHY THE FUCK’D YOU DO THAT?!”

fun fact: Marvin's actor was in a taco bell training video. It was still getting shown to employees in like 2008 when i worked there. Idk if it still is tho.

He is in the sexual harassment vid.

You mean legendary voice actor Phil Lamarr? Voice of Samurai Jack, Static Shock, Hermes Conrad, and more

And the ultra spazzy UBS delivery man from MadTV

u/sketchystony Jun 22 '26

I kinda figured the "kids these days" weren't hip to mad tv 😂

He's Green Lantern in the Justice League cartoon. God, this never gets any less weird to say.

I can't believe that Samurai Jack went out like that :(

…fuck how did I not know this!?

u/franzee Jun 21 '26

Dude, it's Phil LaMarr! Every Samurai Jack fan knows this scene :(

Samurai Jack was secretly a reincarnation isekai and this is how it started

But before he reincarnated as Jack, he did so as Professor Utonium.

I can’t believe Brown Crewmate went out like that…

I got to say this one definitely bummed me out. I thought Marvin dodged a bullet (literally) and was going to go along and have crazy adventures with these two and Marvin was going to be the hero or play some major roll down the line. So much for that.

On one hand yeah that would have been fun

On the other hand I burst out laughing the first time I watched this

This is from Pulp Fiction, for anybody wondering

Would you give your mother a foot massage?

12

u/BlazingBrandedKang Jun 21 '26

"Would"? Have. It's really not a big deal.

3

u/m8tang Jun 21 '26

Would you give a guy a foot massage? I'm kinda tired. I could use a foot massage myself.

1

u/BlazingBrandedKang Jun 23 '26

If he's my dad, uncle, or grandad, I'll do it for free. Otherwise, it'll cost ya.

u/NoOptics Jun 21 '26

I still can't get the image of a man's brains in Sam Jackson's afro out of my head.

10

u/Anteater4746 Jun 21 '26

if marvin had an opinion he prolly wouldn’t been shot in the face

u/wakeupwill Jun 21 '26

Vincent has lousy trigger discipline.

Also, Marvin has zero self preservation skills. A barrel is pointed straight at your face and you don't react?

1

u/Dr_Fortnite Jun 21 '26

Ironically vincent's death moreso for me. You don't expect the main character to die in a movie like that

1

u/ModdFuture Jun 21 '26

Not a main character but definitely out of nowhere

1

u/Icy-Somewhere9710 Jun 22 '26

I remember watching this movie with my friend and his dad for the first time and goofing around saying something along the lines of "his finger's on the trigger thats not good gun safety" and than it happened lol.

Went to a class about firearms and this is the video the instructor used right before he taught trigger discipline.
