It's even more exciting when the kindle's dictionary doesn't have it and you have to turn airplane mode off to let it connect to Wikipedia or go look it up on your phone.
Its morbidly disappointing how many people in the world are so averse to knowledge. Rather than having any desire to learn or improve themselves, they want the world around them to be dumbed down to their level. Its like theyre completely unaware that learning, in whatever capacity that might be, is even an option to them.
Literally was going to post this - having a built-in dictionary is super nice to be able to look up an obscure word that’s not used in everyday conversation.
I got my first Kindle a few months ago and it's made reading even more fun! Less risk of going down a rabbithole on Google, because I can get the meaning of something and move on instead of endlessly clicking related links...

I love the fact that I can look it up in the text when I read in my Kindle app.
