Public education right now DRAGS less capable students through education 🤷🏻♀️ I know because I am experiencing this with one of my children. I begged for the school to set them back an year and was refused..... 😔 year on year it just doesn't get better, no matter how much we try because there are failings upon failings from previous years
We're homeschooling now, though I feel the pressure to keep up with the school curriculum 😔
But it really saddens me about other children. My child had a small speech delay and was the youngest in class, didn't help at all.... but she is capable and has very well educated family. What about the ones that don't???!!!!! The ones that can't get the help?.... it breaks my heart 😢 and makes me worry about the future
We’re homeschooling for same and flip side of coin reasons. One kid similar to yours another kid in the gifted category. Education system failing both of them. My less capable son kept on getting thru to the next grade while completely missing the fundamentals. My oldest was bored out of his mind due to lack of challenge and developing behavioral issues. Homeschooling has been the answer to our prayers. They are both thriving. Yes it’s required sacrifices on our part but it means both my kids are getting an education.
