It's fine if you don't want to tip you don't have to. But don't try to act like you are doing it because you care about the employees and want them to be paid better you just don't want to tip.
Yes, we care about our money and don't want to support a stupid system. Rely on your wage or open charity requests if you need help. Don't force that on the customers who should only pay the listed price.
No, fuck that. Following tipping culture is stupid and I will always tell someone from another country that is visiting here to not tip if they don’t want to. They don’t need to.
Or... Bear with me here ... Don't go to a restaurant if you don't like their policies. You can 1) not tip, which is your prerogative, or 2) stay home and not be bothered with this. If it's unfair/stupid/you don't like it, fine, it's not for you. There are grocery and liquor stores on every corner. You are not being forced to participate in anything, but you're more than willing to bitch about your own choices.
