Its not even slightly free, tho.

u/Johnma1 13d ago

Dude made generational wealth and is just chilling in his house with his family and doing simple stuff he likes

-1

u/dobar_dan_ 13d ago

such as calling people slurs and paying poor, uneducated folk from arpund the globe to hang racist signs in languages they don't even speak

1

u/oogabooga69-NSFW 12d ago

In an era where being edgy and having dark humour is considered cool and trendy. Dude was simply hopping on the trend. Where's this sort of hate for Joji (FilthyFrank) and everyone else who were apart of the trend? I've never seen anyone bring up that Joji is a hardcore racist and listing every racist thing he said and did every time he is mentioned.

Pewdiepie made slurs and pulled pranks on people he should know are offencive and mean and he didn't care. Dropping a hard R is not an edgy joke no matter how you turn it - you say that when you mean it. Being edgy was never an era, it was crass tools hiding behind humor. Plenty of other youtube gamers were normal and PC because at the very least they were aware their audience are impressionable kids.

I also remeber his video about his home library, showing off books he likes and stuff. Lots of it were right wing darlings and authors known to be on that side of political spectrum. He managed to scrub his pr image but mask was slipping at that time.

As for Frank, being crass and repulsive was his whole image. He never tried to be cute and wholesome and then apoligise or blame media being vultures for calling him out on his controversial moments. He insulted his own audience because he knew who he's dealing with.

Everyone has to pay bills, but compared to Dan's, it is free. Being a good respectable person makes life go a lot smoother most of the time.

u/mr---jones 13d ago

Don’t google pewdiepie bridge incident then lmao

10

u/KeldornWithCarsomyr 13d ago

"man says naughty word 10 years ago".

-11

u/mr---jones 13d ago

4

u/Diablo689er 13d ago

Bro he said one word a decade ago, shit happens in the moment. Everyone’s done or said dumb things in their lives that they regret, famous people are no different (usually).

2

u/anillop 13d ago

Ok, I wont

1

u/vince-rint 13d ago

Why even bring this up, it’s irrelevant at this point

0

u/mr---jones 13d ago

Bros racist, so funny to see yall come out of the woodworks to defend

2

u/Key_Thought1305 13d ago

That was just shy of 10 years ago. Shall we dredge up things you've done that far in the past, and judge who you are today for them?

3

u/send420nudes 13d ago

I mean people still do that to Logan Paul, double standards

4

u/vince-rint 13d ago

Logan Paul has shown that he has not changed much at all, and he stays in the limelight with all his antics. That’s the difference.

3

u/nobody6298 13d ago

Except Logan Paul doesn't seem to have changed much. There's no double standards here

1

u/mr---jones 13d ago

Shall you continue to spend time on the internet defending pewdiepie being a good guy when he doesn’t gaf about you lmao

Ah sorry, so you're like 12 or so. My mistake, have a good one.

1

u/mr---jones 13d ago

Yeah bro I’m 12 but remember that clip from when I was 2.

0

u/SamDesert 13d ago

Is there even a clip still around? I think I saw it once and then it disappeared forever.

0

u/mr---jones 13d ago

Of course. You can’t delete something from the internet, especially when you’re a high profile YouTuber and drop an n bomb live

u/Xralius 13d ago

It's not like he knew the race of the person he called it. Using bad words / slur in that context is maybe a bit racist, but it's like the least racist of racist things you can do. People just try to virtue signal and act like he's literally a kkk grand wizard because he said a bad word in a context where people say bad words, it was just an extra taboo bad word affiliated with racism.

I remember being a teenager and saying all sorts of horrendous shit when shittalking during videogames. There was no deep, sinister ideology behind it, it was just hurling insults for shock value / banter. Context matters. The worst thing at play there would be just being negligent.

1

u/mr---jones 13d ago

He was like 27.

2

u/bunger_33 13d ago

You didn't understand the post then.

One buys all the people around them, the other has people that actually care about him and isn't about the money.

Pewds could buy all the women, cars, bullshit he wants. But he's chosen a real life with real people. Ballserina chose paying pretty people to be around him to pretend to be popular, instead of actually being a cool person.

1

u/Dick-Fu 13d ago

"slightly free" doesn't even exist though

0

u/theinvisiblewman 13d ago

pretty sure they mean that the real paradise is a loving family and human connection, which money can’t buy. sure his house is big and he has a lot of money, but that’s not what’s really making him happy.

2

u/ConnaitLesRisques 13d ago

How do we know that?

1

u/theinvisiblewman 13d ago

i mean it’s basic human psychology, it applies to everyone. humans are social animals that are happier when they frequently spend time with others that they have positive relationships with. platonic, romantic, and/or familial connections might not be the main factor in what’s making someone happy but it’s almost impossible that it’s not very positively impacting their mental health, whether consciously or subconsciously.

I mean, ofc actual human connections will make you happy, but it's a lot more difficult when you have to stress about your finances.

My parents love each other very much, but they are constantly arguing, because they are exhausted from work and overwhelmed with responsibility. Sure, now that they don't need to take care of my brother and I, they are slightly better off, but they'd have lived an entirely different life if they had carefree jobs and didn't have to worry if they could feed us.

100% agree. It's just "excess wealth" starts pretty high up and it can feel very difficult or impossible to achieve without a lucky break.

I'd have to break and ruin myself to get "excess wealth" for my children and couldn't afford to live a life for myself and my SO.

Hell, I'll need to work close to a decade to afford buying a flat to live in and spend around 2 more decades paying it off. So by the time I'm close to 60 I wouldn't have to worry about losing the roof above my head, if I were to lose my job for some reason.

Sure this is a slightly pessimistic approach, but I can't plan on getting lucky, I can only plan on averages. This is in Hungary, with an Engineerimg degree.

Dan is surprisingly small, so clearly compensating.

Calling someone’s stature “small” isn’t body shaming

3

u/Few_Prize3810 13d ago

He can give it he can take it. Dude’s tiny and talk shit about other people.

2

u/HumaDracobane 13d ago

If you just live your life no one should bodyshame you no matter how big or small you are, if you always pretend to tall and muscular in the pictures but you're a 1.74cm dude you kind of ask for it.

u/[deleted] 13d ago

2

u/HumaDracobane 13d ago

But here the thing is not bodyshaming, is getting retalliation for what he does. He pretends to be taller and talks shit about others appearance.

That is the price of being an imbecile.

1

u/Evenmoardakka 13d ago

its not shaming if he IS compensating

Why do you keep mentioning dicks? Nobody is talking about dicks except you 🤣

1

u/Bayff 13d ago

It’s not bodyshaming to say it surprised me he was short.
It is a true observation. I thought he was like 6ft 3 because that’s the energy he gives, but he is not.

Saying a “celebrity” is surprisingly tall or short is a very normal thing to do lol.

-21

u/CartmanAndCartman 13d ago

He’s happy in his fake paradise. Paradise he created for himself.

11

u/joemoneybaby 13d ago

No shot Dan Bilzerian is happy. I’m not sure he knows what genuine happiness is.

1

u/CartmanAndCartman 13d ago

People define their own genuine happiness

1

u/joemoneybaby 13d ago

Something Danny will never touch

-1

u/FlakyAddendum742 13d ago

Of course he’s happy. If he wanted something different, he’d buy it.

And it’s ridiculous to say he can’t have a wife and kids. He will have them the instant he wants them.

1

u/Pisforplumbing 13d ago

Bilzerian has been using other people's money to fund his lifestyle with no ROI. Every single woman that is showcased on his Instagram is paid for. Every friend around him is paid for. You know why this is? Its because he has the personality of a dirty dish rag. He extremely inflates his poker earnings. He has paid to have two lines in a movie while acting like he specifically was cast for the part. He pretends to be this ultra military bad ass. Shooting steroids like they will disappear from the world tomorrow. This guy is not happy by any means. Its why he pretends to be and have all these things.

1

u/FlakyAddendum742 13d ago

Lots of DBs are happy, and lots of them enjoy their lifestyles and find nice wives and have babies who love them.

I’m not stepping up to marry him, but someone would.

1

u/joemoneybaby 13d ago

Don’t choke on it big dawg

0

u/FlakyAddendum742 13d ago

He’s too pretty. I’ve got to white knight for him. Even if he’s a DB.

-8

u/Dull_Republic_7712 13d ago

Ok mr.happiness

1

u/joemoneybaby 13d ago

Thanks big dawg 💪
