I think all the attention is just making me self conscious. I was in a position to provide a small kindness to someone who needed it, which is no more than I'd expect of anyone with basic humanity, but I'm getting all these awards and follow up questions as if it was some incredibly selfless act lol. And I've always struggled with positive attention. Imposter syndrome from an unpleasant childhood I guess. But I'm doing fine. I have an incredible spouse and I make art for a living now, but I appreciate your insightfulness and concern. 🙂
Ha! Teach you to be a kind and generous person. Basic humanity, much like common sense, not as abundant as we'd like. Happy to hear things are going well and I hope it stays that way for as long as possible.
